Run1Ads.ai, operated by Ethera Business LLC (United Arab Emirates). Effective 20 October 2026.
Who we are. Run1Ads.ai is a live Meta ads consultant for e-commerce brands and the agencies
that run their ads. It reads a brand's Meta ad account and online store, finds what is costing it return on
ad spend, and tells the brand what to fix. It is operated by Ethera Business LLC, a company
registered in the United Arab Emirates, which is responsible for the personal data described here.

1. Scope
This policy explains what information Run1Ads.ai collects, why, how long we keep it, who can see it, and how
you can access or delete it. It covers the website and web app at run1ads.ai, the Run1Ads connector for Ai
assistants, and data we access through Meta (Facebook) when an ad account is connected. Run1Ads.ai is a
business service; it is not intended for personal or household use, or for anyone under 18.
2. Information we collect
Account information you give us when you register: your name, email address and, if you
subscribe, billing details (handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see your full card number).
Meta data, only after you, or a brand that approves an agency's request, connect a Meta
account through Facebook Login. With that permission we access your public profile, the Pages and ad accounts
you manage, and for the ad account you choose: campaign, ad set and ad details, results and spend, saved
audiences, and the text and images of your ads. We request the Meta permissions public_profile,
pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, business_management, ads_read and ads_management.
Store visit data, only if a brand adds the Run1Ads tracking code to its website, and only for
visits that arrive from that brand's Meta ads (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Threads or Audience Network).
A visit counts as from a Meta ad when its link carries Meta's click id (fbclid) or a Meta utm_source. For any
other visit the code stops straight away and sends nothing. For visits from Meta ads it records how visitors move
through the store (pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, page speed and technical errors) so we can find where shoppers
drop off, and it reads the ad tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term,
ad_id, ad_name, adset_id, campaign_id, placement and site_source_name) so we can show which ad the visit came
from. We note only that a Meta click id was present, never its value. It masks anything typed into forms, never
records passwords or payment details, and respects the browser's Do Not Track setting. We do not use it to
identify individual shoppers.
Store information you connect or give us, such as your store address, product pages and,
if you connect Shopify or WooCommerce, product and order totals.
What you send us: questions to the consultant chat, your fix list, goals you set, and
support messages.
Visits to run1ads.ai: on our own website we record visits to improve the site, whatever
link brought the visitor. We record the pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, page speed and technical errors, the
site or ad tags the visit came from (referrer and utm tags), the device type, browser language and time zone,
and the steps of sign up you reached. We note only that an ad click id (gclid, gbraid, wbraid or fbclid) was
present, never its value. Everything typed into forms is hidden in recordings, and we never record passwords or
payment details. We do not record the logged in app, and we respect the browser's Do Not Track setting.
Technical data: basic logs and usage information needed to run and secure the service.
3. How we use it
To analyse your ad account and store and give you advice: what to fix, why, and the steps to apply it.
We read connected ad accounts about every hour (less often when an account has no spend) so we can alert
you to problems such as spend with no sales, a rejected ad or a broken store.
To email you a critical alert when we find one, if alert emails are on for that brand. You can turn them
off in the app at any time.
To give creative advice on your video ads: we look at still frames of your brand's own video ads (the preview images Meta already makes, never the video file itself) and analyse them with Anthropic's Claude.
To answer your questions in the consultant chat using your own account's data.
To remember lasting facts you tell the consultant about your brand (for example, that you never run discounts), so later answers respect them. You can see and delete these notes in the app at any time.
To stop showing a suggestion you marked as already done or not relevant, for 14 or 30 days.
To create a campaign in your ad account only when you ask, using "Send as a paused draft"
or Quick Ad. Everything we create is paused and spends nothing until you switch it on in
Meta Ads Manager. We never create, launch, edit or pause anything in your account on our own, and we never
change your budget.
To let an agency see the brands that approved its request (section 5).
To operate, secure, support and improve the service, and to bill you.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use one customer's data to serve another customer.
We process personal data with your consent (for example when you connect Meta or install the tracking code),
to provide the service you signed up for, and where the law requires.

5. Who can see your data
Agencies
If you approve an agency's request to connect your ad account, that agency can see your account's data and
advice inside Run1Ads, to serve you. You can remove that access at any time by disconnecting Meta, by removing
Run1Ads in your Meta Business Settings, or by writing to us.
Run1Ads staff
A small number of named Run1Ads staff can view connected account data only to provide and support the
service, for example to answer your support request or check that advice is correct. This access is
limited and logged.
Service providers
These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate agreements:
Supabase (database and sign in) and Netlify (website and app hosting)
Stripe (payments)
Anthropic and OpenAI (Ai models that write advice and answer questions;
under our API agreements your data is not used to train their models)
ElevenLabs (spoken walkthroughs, where you use them)
Apify (collecting publicly available competitor ad information)
Microsoft Clarity and Cloudflare Web Analytics (measuring use of our own website)
Some providers store data outside the United Arab Emirates. By connecting your accounts you consent to that
transfer, and we only use providers with appropriate safeguards.
Legal reasons
We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our users and the service.
6. Store visit tracking, for your shoppers
When a brand adds our tracking code to its website, Run1Ads processes visit data on that brand's behalf, and
only for visits that arrive from the brand's own Meta ads. Visits from anywhere else are not recorded. The
brand is responsible for telling its visitors, for example with this line in its own privacy policy:
"We use Run1Ads Insights, an anonymised session analytics tool, to find technical issues that hurt your shopping
experience. It records only visits that arrive from our Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram), and notes which ad the
visit came from. It records clicks, scrolls and page loads, never passwords, payment details or what you type."
7. The Run1Ads Chrome extension
The optional Run1Ads extension for Google Chrome shows the Run1Ads app in Chrome's side panel, next to Meta
Ads Manager. It only advises: it never clicks, types, changes, publishes or deletes anything on any page.
It reads the address of the tab you have open, and only on Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business pages, to see
which ad account is open so the panel can show the matching brand. Addresses of other websites are not visible
to it.
When you press "Show me where" in the panel, it looks for that button or label on the open Ads Manager page
and draws a blue outline around it for a few seconds. This happens inside your browser only.
On Meta pages, apart from looking for that label when you ask, it does not read pages, and it never copies, stores or sends
page content, including your ads, numbers or audiences. It makes no network requests of its own; the panel
loads run1ads.ai like a normal website.
Automatic sign in: so you never sign in inside the panel, the extension reads your Run1Ads sign in from
your own open run1ads.ai tab, and only when the panel is signed out. It takes only the short lived access
token (never your password, and never the refresh token, which stays on run1ads.ai), passes it straight to
the run1ads.ai page inside the panel, and sends it nowhere else. Run1Ads then starts a separate sign in for
the panel. The extension keeps the token only for that session: in memory, or for at most 5 minutes in
Chrome's session storage after you sign in on run1ads.ai, and never on disk.
On run1ads.ai it also marks the page so our site knows the extension is installed. It reads nothing else
there.
On Ads Manager pages it shows a small blue Run1Ads button that opens the panel. You can hide it on a tab, or
turn it off in the panel settings. That on or off choice is the only thing it saves on your computer.
8. Deleting your data
You can disconnect Meta or delete a brand at any time. When you do, we delete its stored access token
immediately and its saved data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it. To delete your whole
account and all its data, email [email protected] from your account
email, or follow the steps at run1ads.ai/data-deletion. We
complete deletion within 30 days. You can also remove Run1Ads.ai from Facebook under Settings and Privacy,
Settings, Business Integrations, which stops our access going forward.
9. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, keep access tokens in restricted storage, check that a brand's own
Meta login can reach an ad account before reading it, and limit who can see account data.
10. Meta Platform Terms
Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows the
Meta Platform Terms and
Developer Policies, including their limited use
requirements. We use Meta data only for the purposes in this policy.
11. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or ask what we hold about
you, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to the UAE
Data Office. We respond within 30 days.
12. Changes
We will post any update on this page and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we
will tell account holders by email.
